Morning, trying to get CTW up and running at work, do the STW team know which councils are running the scheme and ideal a contact person to go to to steal info from.

same old council bull, how much time does someone need to spend on admin of the scheme, what NI savings have they made etc etc

Cheers

Mark

We don't, but have a loan scheme where you get up to about £400 to spend in a shop that mainly deals in Raleigh.

Not a great scheme to get a bike to ride for fun, but brilliant for those who really want to use a bike to ride to work...

Poole do...we use Cyclescheme.

The easiest/best way to get it set up is to find a local friendly LBS to sell it to the finance people. Also the cyclsescheme website has loads of info you can print out to help persuade people.

The limit is £1000 but you can top that up with your own money if you want to.

Derby City Council and Cornwall Council do.
Probably best to phone a council's switchboard and ask for their work's Green Travel Plan officer (if they have one) or just ask for the HR dept.

We dont have it but hopefully that change soon as work have got 1.5million for cycle trails and encouraging people to cycle. Hopefully there would be free choice of supplier be a bit of a bummer if its restricted to the hire fleet supplier. Dont really have a need for a rail trail bike.

Dont know if this is myth or not but have been told if you have a consumer credit agreement then there is no limit to what you can get.

Dumfries

My employer will not sign up

Reasons include;
"You lot only want to buy new road/mtb bikes, not to cycle to work".
True 😀

"There have been/are too many lost work day accidents".
Also true 🙄
