Can't decide between the B17, Swift and Team Pro.

I have a b17 and a team pro, the b17 is a fair bit wider and lives on the tourer, the team pro lives on the pompetamine and is not so comfy.

Ah 'back then' the Pro was a different cut of leather sounds like it still is. Shame B17s aren't still under a tenner.

They have a good resale value so it maybe worth trying a couple out and flogging the one that suits you least.
I sold my swift as it was narrow for me. I have a 20 year old B17 for long rides and a newer ti railed B17 which I'm breaking in on short rides.

Eighteen months on and I'm still breaking a (narrow) B17 in on my Airnimal. Currently keeping it all dry from the nasty, wet weather....

I'm not understanding this "breaking it in" thing. I fitted a B17 to my Amazon and went for a three hour cycle. It was comfy right away.

Same as on my off road bike ๐Ÿ™‚ B17. Comfiest saddle I've owned YMMV

Well used B17, nice, well used swallow, nice, if very narrow and swift, new, not broken in, OK with padded pants and in up to 50 mile rides.

I've a B17 here too and it is comfortable enough but to be honest, for me, it's no better than a Turbo, Rolls, Flite or Arione.

Flip - your Brian Rourke looks great but I'd agree with your comments about the saddle not looking quite right (style and how far you can get it back). You haven't asked but I'll offer the opinion that a Rolls would look far better; you could get them in a reddy brown, a not completely dissimilar colour to the Brooks. Just a thought.

Yes i was going for a white Rolls and white bar tape, but like the Honey colour.

It'll probably end up white...

Ive a Swift ti on the road bike and a Team Pro ti on the brompton. Love them both, and will get one for the MTB too in the near future hopefully. Will probably go for another Swift as it is a little narrower (to be able to get off the back).

Coming from other saddles including Gobi's Ariones, Spoons, Flites etc I can honestly say the Swift equalled the best of these (the Spoon) on its first outing. and its getting better.

B17 special. I found it comfy as soon as it was on, and it's only got comfier.
