I love my Tricross, up there as one of my fave ever bikes,

Only down side are the brakes - I've got mini vees on mine but the lack of adjustment is a PITA

What are you using - pics would be great !

cheers

I've got a 2008 tricross which runs mini Vs with drop levers. I tried swapping them out for low profile cantis, medium profile cantis and froglegg style cantis. In the end, I put the mini Vs back on. However, I used a Dia Compe Flexi to give me some adjustment on the brakes. It means I need to keep the rims very true but it does give powerful braking.

(I'm still looking at a disc brake frameset though)

I can't remember what mine originally came with, except that they were shit. The bike shop swapped them for Campag Mirage vees which are great. They also put inline cable adjusters on so I can now get the brake blocks close to the rim for good braking but can also wind them out for enough slack to get the wheel out for punctures/storage. I have taken a photo, but need to take the dog out and do ironing for work tomorrow before I can get the photo hosted and posted.
