Need to top up/bleed my Formula brakes (Dot 4) so just wondering if there is any difference between the various options/any recommendations?

When I had glycol fluid based brakes I used dot 5.1. You can mix it with dot 4 although I tended to flush the old stuff out, ie keep bleeding until the new fluid starts coming out so it is completely changed. Dot 5.1 has a higher boiling point. I'm sure 4 is fine but for the tiny extra cost it seemed worth it. Same argument for using branded stuff

I use mogul rbf600. Seems to have the highest wet boiling point so I can leave it longer between flushes.
