keppoch
1. Glentress
2. Code Y Brenin
3. Mabie
1) Afan Argoed
2) Glentress
3) Gwydyr
Tough call between Gwydyr and Brechfa though!
Coed y Brenin, Glentress and Nevis Range.
Innerleithen if you include all the offpiste and DH trails. But is that cheating? Golspie honourable runner up.
Whyte1 you were right, Nant yr Arian is stunning, great mix of riding :-). But, it hasnt got the numbers of trails. If this was on best trail, it would be Syfydrin from my limited trail centre riding, but my top 3 are:
CYB
Afan (more trails open please)
Nant yr Arian
1. Inners
2. Penmachno
3. CliMachx (although a bit short)
1. Laggan
2. Golspie
3. Kirroughtree
Don't like trail centres apart from the convenience.
1) Inners
2) CYB apart from stupid descents on fire roads
3) Penmachno
1. Glentress
2. Kirroughtree
3. Inners
In no order.....
CYB (and it's looking popular)
Nany Y Arian - long route especially
Whites & W2
There was a point to this thread - mainly to help figure out which centre to visit next, there are some interesting choices here so far ๐
as i have only ridden three
CYB
Afan
Cwm Carn.
1.Glentress/Innerleithen - 3 days is not enough
2.Llandegla - short but close(ish)
3.Coed-Y-Brenin
Brechfa
Glentress
Penmachno
Can't say I've been to too many, so I'll just list them all in order.
1. Glentress - red
2. Laggan - red
3. Kirroughtree - red and black
4. Drumlanrig - red
4. Mabie - red
5. Golspie - red and lower black (was good, but not worth the travelling and golspie is grim, If I was from englandshire i really wouldn't bother)
6. Carron Valley - blue.
think that's it.
Glentress is great, it's close to where I live and there are a lot of options there. Being a trailfairy and knowing I've helped to make some of the trails helps too. ๐
I always enjoy my rides at Kirroughtree, plus I've always ridden there are part of weekend breaks and they've been very enjoyable mini holidays too.
I'm not sure what the third would be. Drumlanrig is a great place to ride but there's so much at Coed y Brenin, Nant yr Arian has a wonderful feel, the red at Nevis Range is so very different to most other stuff I ride, Laggan manages a lot of riding given its relatively short trails.
Laggan
Glentress
Climachx (just for the last descent)
Whistler Bike Park
Innerleithen
Kirroughtree
1 CYB
2 Penmachno
3 Glentress
(Never been to a few though like Afan so slightly unfair mayby)
1)Lakes
2)Exmoor
3) Shropshire / Powys !

In no particular order: -
Whinlater
Kirroughtree

(I've been to... Glentress (black, red, blue & freeride), Innerleithen (red), Dalbeatie (red), Kirroughtree (red & black), Newcastleton, Mabie (red), Ae (red) Llandegla (Red with Black options), Penmachno (both loops), Gwydyr Forest, CYB (Beast & Tarw), Climachx, Nant-y-arian (both red), Afan (All 4), Cwmcarn (just Twrch), Brechfa (Red & Black), Whinlater (both Red & Blue), Grizedale & Bedgebury)
Ae
Nevis
Gisburn
Innerleithen on an uplift day is just outstanding. So much variety. Nevis range - red route then turn off onto the bottom of the dh track. Superb both technically and from the natural beauty around you. Glentress - red route with black options. Close to where I live and again nice scenery and a good level of difficulty. I also quite fancy Glencoe which has an ace dh track and is supposed to be opening a good red route soon. Excellant natural trails there as well. Good w/end that - Glencoe sat/camp up/Ft William sunday. Maybe try and squeeze laggan in as well!
1. Glentress
2. CyB
3. Kirroughtree (apart from the drive there)
PS - love the pedantic idiots on here that don't know what a trail centre is.
Innerdrumlaggan.
1. Glentress
2. Innerleithen
3. Whinlatter
Inners
cwmcarn
Stainburn (nice technical blast!)
No one mentioned Glentrool?
The blue's and greens are fun, no matter how long you've been riding.
The purple is superb, although at 36 miles not your usual trail centre route - still very pleasant, not at all technical, superb views.
1. Glentress/Innerleithen (if the 7 Stanes thinks they're one centre, that's good enough for me!)
2. Laggan
3. Golspie
1. Thetford
2. (Only been to Thetford)
3. ( " )
