The route I take most mornings has enough traffic lights and slow moving traffic that I tend to go at the same speed as traffic for most of the way. Today I happened to be keeping pace with a police car and lo and behold, cars around us stuck to the speed limit, no-one cut me up or passed too close and, to be honest, I wasn't tempted to jump any red lights as I may sometimes do.
Here's a crazy idea, instead to blowing public funds on daft advertising campaigns (Edinburgh's Nice Way Code anyone?), how about we actually police the roads instead?
I much prefer the NiceWayCode, it makes me feel all fluffy.
