Was at Dalby last Saturday. Peeing it down with rain all day, thick mud, wet mud, slippy, greasy, hard work. 2 sets of pads down to the metal in a couple of hours and couldn't even muster the enthusiasm to do the full red loop.

Today... zippy, whizzy, dusty, sandy trails. Smiles, warmth on our faces. Arms and face are currently tingling with the mildest of sunburn. Glorious.

Couple of hours on the road tomorrow morning... followed by coffee and breakfast in the back garden. Could not be more content.

Just over a week ago I was slogging around a rainy and muddy Long Mynd. My cheeks are a bit sunburnt today from a very hot and dry Cannock ride and it feels great ๐Ÿ˜€

Tomorrow will be spent trying to fix my drivetrain as its always having problems after bigger rides.
