After a good few years away from the word of mountain biking I've signed up for the 24/12 24hour solo next year so looking for a frameset. Just wondering what people would recommend ? Used to use a anthem x back in the day 26" have a 29er on one as a hack bike so open to different wheels sizes

I would think something like a Giant Anthem X 29er would be perfect.
Essentially a short travel XC FS 29er. Could also look at the Specialized Epic or Trek Topfuel.
Will the event be in summer? Will it also be used throughout the year?
Yep summer event will be ridden throughout the year quantocks
I'd go for something like the anthem x 29er too (I have one and they are brilliant).
BUT, make sure you get set up well on it - i.e. buy it as soon as poss and ride it a lot/make mods to make it comfy enough for you well before the event.
