looking to upgrade both my kids 20" bikes to 24' ones. Not looking for top spec ones but not cheapo clunkers neither. Saw a few on CRC and wiggle for 180 to 240 price range, need to be mountain bikes double or triple chainset with twist shifters.

Any opinions on what bike and where from?

Cheers

S

just bought a 20"
£165, though it should have been £189, price was marked up wrong.
seem to be well thought of bikes, well specced and put together.
Or try ebay- plenty of spec hot rocks.

guy in shop said a fair few people skip the 24" and go from the 20" to a small adult which then lasts longer. Not got any experience of doing this, no doubt someone will have an opinion.

Going straight to 26" would be a mistake there are too many kids wobbling around on bikes to bike for them, I got them to ride on a mates daughters 24" bike and it looked just fine. Thanks for the link to the Meridia.
