Hi,

What enduro/24hr races are recommended coming up in 2010 (other than the usual circuit of Salisbury Plain/Mountain Mayhem/SITS) ?

Are there any European based races? I heard there was a Spanish 24hr race but haven't found the website...

Cheers.

The below site used to have a calendar of 12/24h races across Europe:
http://www.24hpassion.it/index.php?lang=en

I've not done either myself, but how about:

I enjoyed the CLIC24 and it was one of the most god awful weekends weather-wise of '09 so that must say something...

Hi at all! ๐Ÿ˜€
I'm Angelo from Italy.

I found your forum cause I'm the WM and editor of 24hpassion, and seen an incoming link from this site.

So, first: forgive my orrible english!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Ok, if I can suggest a nice 24h outside UK, for me the best in Europe is 24h of Finale Ligure (Italy), cause is the funniest, hardest and beautiful I' have seen.

Maybe you say "ok, Angelo, you live there, normally for you is the best!!".

Trust me, I have seen many endurance in Europe, cause I love this world, and my nick (name of my site) show this.......

Another nice 24h in in Lisbon, Portugal, very very fun there, cheap and easy go there.

I can help you in every way if you need suggest for these or other 24h or endurance.

My site is a personal site, no budget, all the press release are for free....just love to inform the bikers about endurance.

Check it out, more than 100 endurance race in Europe, there's an english version too (..my english) for static content(24h for newbie), I'm the moderator in 24h section in the most important forum mtb in Italy....light test..many other.

Every week last year I was in a endurance to made report etc....

Till 2006 was a nice soloider, with podium and win too, now I'm just an old biker (I'm 40), but all I do now is for the love of this sport.

I hope I can help you, and forgive the long post. ๐Ÿ™„

Ciao.
Angelo

Ciao Guys!

Today I begin to update the calendar 2010 on my site.

Now available just the 24 hours, next days the other race too (16h, 12h, 10h.......etc)

Already 38 (!) 24h added, hope in few weeks to update all the race I had last year: more than 100.

Ciao
Angelo

24/12 (24doce) in madrid had the xcracer team in attendance and shaggy and matt also competed ss. It'll be warm so might be worth getting out for a week before to get used to riding-tap eckinspain of this parish if you need some routes to do whilst there ๐Ÿ˜‰

I rode MM, SITS and Bonty 24/12 solo this year and much as I like the (Saint) Patrick Adams events the bonty had the best course and the best vibe all round. 24 ora of Rome seems like a laugh if I can get a long weekend pass from the missus . . . . .

some guys (and girls) from our club did the 24doce that fontmoss and others mentioned. They really enjoyed it and want to repeat next year. I remember at the time thinking it sounded great but not sure about my commitment levels!

It's just North of Madrid and it'll be hot.

24h in Rome is flat, boring and without hard or technical

You're right, very funny, but the best place in Italy (Europe) to ride in a 24h is Finale Ligure. Take a look!
