Just wondering how the weather has been over Wharncliffe and Sheffield way today? Going up tomorrow (non-bike related) and considering going over to Wharncliffe when I'm finished. Been pissing it down here all day so wondering if it's any better "oop north"?
Been dry today but last few days haven't been the greatest to be prepared for some gloop
I live in Leeds , Wharncliffe is a 34 mile drive away from me. last night we went round our local loop and it was a bit mucky with loads of claggy mud/clay and the off camber rooty section was lethal.
Wharncliffe needs a couple of warm dry weeks before it starts to dry out properly that's not to say you won't still have a good time there but I think it's a given that it's going to be muddy.
be prepared for mud. Still, it isnt gonna stop me going tomoro. Keep an eye out for a marin and an orange, in the aft..
agh I hate muddy slippy roots! Will take the bike though just in case I fancy it. I'll be there in the afternoon as well, around 2-3ish I think. Fat bloke on a grey Trailstar ๐
don't tell anyone I told you but Wharncliffe is perfectly good in the wet too.
