Just came to fit these to a new pair of Shimano M0-77. The screws that secure the cleat to the shoe-plate are WAY too short. They don't even reach the first pitch of thread 👿
Anybody else had this problem?

You need some longer M5 Countersunk screws.
Some cleats come with 2 sets, short and long for this eventuality.
Remember to copperslip (or grease if no 'slip) to have a fighting chance of changing them later.
I prefer the Shimano hardened carbon steel to the cheese-soft stainless Crankies screws.
