Edge 800 3.5 years old, has worked flawlessly. However.... The last two rides on my anthem it's shown a problem. After a short amount of time, 15-20 mins so far, after starting the time the breadcrumb trail will stop breadcrumbing. My position continues to update on the mapping but with a straight line back to where it stopped breadcrumbing. The timer continues to record elapsed time etc... Download to garmin connect maps the route to the end of the breadcrumb where it shows the red route end symbol. Elapsed time is the full ride time until I pressed stop whereas total moving time is just the breadcrumb trail bit.
Select another bike on the unit and you don't get the problem.
Am I inadvertently knocking something or is there a known problem? Can't find anything googling. Thought I'd check here before deleting the bike data or resetting the unit.

Are you using a speed/cadence sensor? If so is the battery flat?
Are you eating the breadcrumbs ?
or the magnet on the wheel has come loose
No speed sensor on that bike
