Which bit if the ride is that last pic Simon, I want to ride that.

I just did 20 odd km local on the fat bike. No pics as it wasn't worth it. I did manage to find and exceed the limit of grip of a Maxxis Mammoth in wet slop.

Grisedale, after coming down Dollywaggon from Helvellyn.

44km of forest roads and back lanes from Dunblane to Braes of Doune and Braco with most of OAB family in lovely autumn weather.

To add - it's half term up here this week, so I just dropped eldest_oab and pal off in a forest somewhere in Trossachs, off for a bivvy and couple of days around the mountains. First time alone for them, at 14.

Lovely Saturday trying to remember how to ride DH trails at Tai Mo Shan after breaking my collarbone in June, doesn't help having a chap on a hardtail pressuring me on my FR bike, ruins a chaps confidence.

That first pic is ace!

Had a great ride out on The Long Mynd on Saturday. Weather was perfect once the mist cleared, trails were almost bone dry, lots of pleasant walkers, one grumpy runner and a ton of Thistle thorns to be picked out of legs and fingers.

Tasty toastie, Coffee and something very Chocolatey from the cafe once we were done.

it is indeed 😉 it's known as Ladybower Zig Zags amongst others

I had a great weekend in Scotland staying at Mabie House Hotel, the weather was dry as where the trails.
