did a new route yesterday...was a good ride from Hollingworth Lake, over the tops towards Lydgate and onto Walsden then onto Watergrove Reservoir before dropping back into Littlborough and bake to Hollingworth.
we had sun, rain, wind and snow!! you've got to love the British weather!! ๐
only downside was that i'd accidentally left my gopro running for the first part of the route which involved lots of climbing so by the time we got the the top to do the main descent the battery was dead...
Both rides this weekend were on road, and both featured almost-perfect weather and beautiful scenery.
All in all, a good couple of days!
Just up Rivi, as time was short.
PS. I've got that Reverb back now, if you want to give you pal a nudge Gonzy.
๐
cheers Chakaping...i mentioned it to my mate yesterday...i'd passed your number onto him but he thought i was getting in touch with you!! a case of crossed wires there...i'll give him a "gentle" nudge with my foot!! ๐
Rode all the trails at Afan, under blue sky's and sunshine. Sunshine that was actually too hot on the climb up Whites Level.
I went on a 120km cross tour with about 80 others as a homage to an imaginary Belgian road racer who supposedly raced against Mercx in Liege-Bastogne-Liege. we had the same kind of weather as yesterday's race, too. Sun, snow, rain then sun again.
Grizedale and Claife Heights including The Three Witches, up Breasty Haw, Fox Run and Claife to Colthouse descent.
Trimix - MemberRode all the trails at Afan, under blue sky's and sunshine. Sunshine that was actually too hot on the climb up Whites Level.
All of them? Doff my cap to that.
Rode the Gorlech at Brechfa on Sunday, a few clouds in the sky, but I'd be taking the Mick if I complained about that, set all kinds of Strava PBs on the climbs and was pretty good on the descents - new bike is great, a few more rides and I'll be flying I reckon.
