Out on the new Clockwork Evo with Jnr on his Whyte 403 in Epping Forest today, an amazing time, and as I discovered the Clockwork Evo is an amazing bike:

Blimey, thin pickings folks. Nice work kryton & junior, good to know someone's riding a bike out there.

Quick blast From Booth to home for me via grizedale, cut short by an irreparably ripped tyre. So had to limp to the pub and await rescue.

Stupid weird, undiagnosed foot thing flaring up at the minute so no riding for me this weekend...

Tailing off now with the Naproxen, and I'm on half term this week so hopefully will be catching up with lost riding in a couple of days...

I was gonna ride me bike but.. cut my finger on a poorly placed scalpel.

Went walking instead and as the rut is on, we saw lots of deer action. This guy got to within 10m but I couldn't get a good photo. We met again on the way home from the pub. There wasn't any chance of a photo. But it was an amazing moment. Bright yellow eyes and moon-lit antlers.

Struggling up a hard climb at Pitfichie Hill. I wasn’t feeling strong yesterday and had already failed at three points......I’m yet to clean this climb.

No riding this weekend. But it's been half term, so lots of rides, paddles and walks.
I even had a lovely walk with my dad, 2 days after he had an operation. Amazing bounce back for a 77 year old...

Did plenty of riding, very few pics though and we never do 'action' shots, i find that weird

No "proper" mountain biking more me. I've been using the road bike to test whether "gravel riding" might be something I'd enjoy (still undecided)

And using the MTB to ride into the base of interesting looking hills and walking up them. This one is called Brown Cow Hill although I didn't see any.

Up Grisedale Pike, along to Crag Hill and down Stoney Croft on Saturday. T'was a little bleak on the tops.

Tried out my GoPro Hero 8, the mist didn't help but got some none blurry footage

Cracking little ride. 10 miles and just over 3100ft.

Trail run on Friday (realise this doesn't fit the thread title, but Friday is usually a ride-day, so this gets in by default!)

Pre-dawn 48km gravel ride Sunday morning ...

It’s not the climb that takes you to start of the descent, it’s the climb that takes you to the top of Green Hill from the saddle between White Lady and Green Hill.

I was thinking that looked like the climb up Green Hill, but to be honest I'm amazed anybody thinks that climbable. Fair play for trying 🙂
