Thanks to the white sh1t (3-4" here last night) it looks like mtbing in the Scottish Borders is a knacker job today. Will probably head west tomorrow to either Drumlanrig or Dalbeattie. Does anyone know what the ground conditions are over there today?

Thanks in advance

Only a light dusting of snow in dumfries last night. I would have thought that the trails would be fine.

Avoid Fife, there's plenty of snow fallen overnight!

Looking out the window in Dumfries this morning only about an inch of snow. Dont know what Drum or Dalb will be like but Ae yesterday had a fair amount of hard ice about which required riding with care, made for a good ride but the fire roads did require some respect.

DRumlanrig was riding beautifully this morning, fresh crunchy snow; a bit hard on the climbs but fantastic riding and beautiful. beautiful scenery..

just back from the Drum, was brilliant! Strangely around 75% of the red hadn't been ridden yet, so it's was fresh tracks all the way!

Bit white and a lot deeper than yesterday @ Ae this morning.
Singletrack stuff was easier than the roads tho ๐Ÿ™‚

Rain in Dumfries late afternoon and a bit of a thaw going on, could turn nasty on the roads later ๐Ÿ˜•
