Hi - I'm heading to Warminster for a couple of days after New Year with the Mrs and her family - any decent riding out that way ? Worth taking the bike ?
Thanks

The Wylye Valley is absolutely gorgeous and you've also got the Plain. As Esme says, you must visit Imber and more info on opening here:

You could cycle from Warminster and head, on a minor road, towards Heytesbury where you'll pick up the Imber road/track.
