I've got a bid a sad-arsed dilemma. When I left the UK to come over to Oz for a few years, I sold my old trusty 1st generation SC Blur and I bought an 07 Blur LT when I got here.
Now, the Blur LT is nice and all but it's just not as nice as my old bike and, now that they've pkayed about with the SC range, there just isn't a bike with the same angles and things as my old one.
So, I'm looking for suggestions for a FS bike that will climb like a goat with any fancy pro-pedal stuff turned off and be as floaty on the downhills as my old bike.
I've been told by a mate that a Pivot 5 might be just the thing but nobody over here has a test fleet of any make of bike, let alone a boutique brand like Pivot. Does anyone know if the have a test fleet in the UK? I'm due back home in a couple of months and I'm seriously considering getting rid of the Blur and buying something different.
