I've seen some strange things when out and about on my bike but today was the first time I saw a wild wallaby in the UK.

Any riders in the Chilterns might want to keep an eye out, I spotted this one in Catslip near Henley-on-Thames, seems like there's a wild population there: http://www.henleystandard.co.uk/news/news.php?id=1139893.

Why does this thread title make me think of The Sex Pistols?

Saw an ostrich in a field today, not wild but not exactly standard central Spanish fauna.

We've got a few Wallaby's over on the Isle Of Man living wild in the Ballaugh Curraghs area. They reckon that there is around 100 wandering around.

There are also meant to be a few Red Panda's as well after they escaped from the wildlife park.

I've seen quite a few Wallaby's, but not seen a Panda yet.

My mum saw one about 10-15 years ago in an old woodland in Hertfordshire. She spent a long time thinking she had gone completely bonkers (didn't help that we also ripped the p155 mercilessly) until someone confirmed that a bunch had escaped for a stately home a few weeks before.

Cool. wondered how they were doing as I hadn't seen one in a while (in Chilterns). Everyone laughed at me for ages when I said I'd seen one.

Time for a stealth solo ride.

Saw one up the Lickey Hills a few years ago, thought I was going mad. Never seen one since or heard of anybody else who has.

It's not the UK, but we've got loads living wild around Sulby and Ballaugh on the Isle of Man. I'll often spot one up in the hills and plantations.
