Anyone else finding the commentary a bit crap?

I note a guest appearance from Frankie Boyle tonight ๐Ÿ˜€

I gave up watching tonight, just shows how good the TdF coverage is nowadays.

God knows how bad the Tour of Britain coverage might end up being....

I agree Al, a far cry from Sherwin and the lads. Gary is doing his bit (in customary brown wardrobe) but he's really up against it.

It's definitely better than nothing! MCTD you missed a very entertaining little battle at the end. The commentary's not great at the moment but to be honest all cycling commentators drive me up the wall on occasion, it's a very hard job to get right.

I do think they've been a bit mean to Matt Rendell sending him out there on his own, surely they could have stumped up for a cameraman so the poor sod doesn't have to fight his way into the melee holding a mic, a camera, and speaking five different languages at the same time?

Its a bit on the amature side compared to the Giro and TdF , but at least Its something to watch . The thing that also struck me Is how the Spanish countryside is nowhere as near as picturesque as the French or Italian.
