MTB Project looking for your votes .
Etherly Farm is a MTB friendly campsite at the foot of Leith Hill. The National Trust are bidding for a grant through the 'Bovril Outdoor revival' scheme to help build a dedicated skills trail on site. The grant will be part of a wider MTB initiative at the site which will include a new 1.5 mile single track descent to the site from Leith hill, showers, bike washes and many of the other facilities that are not on offer within the Surrey Hills. Back the bid (and the NT's progressive attitude to MTB) by registering your vote for 'Leith Hill' at the Bovril Outdoor Revival site. Spread the word through your social networking sites, twitter etc and help get this project of off the ground.
It is a bit of a faff to find the right bit. This makes it quick and easy:
'Skip Intro' - eventually you will see three windows. Where it says: find project. You can enter an area or postcode, type Leith Hill here.
This brings up a map in the centre of the page. The spade nearest the 'h ' of Cranleigh is the one you are looking for. Click it and it should bring up 'Etehrley Farm' project and click vote for this.
(You don't have to enter your address etc, just name and email for your vote to count)
Ranked 48th yesterday and up to 40th now so please spread the word.
Thank you for supporting it.
Jeff
