We're heading to the Vosges in September in the campervan. Has anyone got any nice gravel/hybrid bike routes to share?

Ideally 40-70km with under 1000m of climbing and cake stops... Lots of cake stops😎

We'll explore a bit, starting in the north and working our way south over 2 weeks

Thanks

No idea for routes but I stayed in Corcieux several years ago and did a bit of road riding in the area. Nice place to go and I'm sure you'll find some decent places to ride.

had 2 holidays based in Gerardmer. loads of mtb stuff all around that area, but this was 15 years ago, but the whole area is very forested, so i reckon there is probably loads.

did a route up and over the Grand Ballon which was ace.

also just put gerardmer to grand ballon in Cyle.travel as a gravel route, which is showing half the distance as unmade road.

well worth exploring.

The forest and vineyards west of Colmar and Ammerschwir up to Le Galtz monument is awash with gravel bikeable tracks and trails.

This route is a little further to the north -
