The tread on my old ones (4 years ago) disappeared overnight, but I loved them. Any better news on the newer ones ?

Had some a couple of years ago for the Ronde, did about two months training, rode it, did another month then the rear was toast, which was a bit of a bummer because I'd swapped them round twice.
Lovely tyres, but not a sensible choice for any kind of mileage unless you get them dirt cheap.
