Considering running these in 650b format on my gravel bike. Any users with real world experience

I run the 2.2 29er version on my xc race bike. Fast rolling and reasonably grippy, they have worn pretty well too.

29x2.35s are my current go to tires for MTB; have them on my XC race bike and my do everything hardtail. Very pleased with them for MTB usage. Can’t say for gravel tho - would love to hear experiences there as well. I’m still quite happy with my WTB Nanos for gravel, but I do wind up having a lot of tarmac on my gravel rides.

Hated them and pretty much gave them away after 4-5 rides.

27.5 2.2 here.

I would agree. I run them as (dry) summer tyre on rear and occasionally in a gravely type trip front and rear.

Easy to set up tubeless.

Don't show them moisture or typical Scottish peat though....!

29 X 2.25 here as a rear with a barzo on the front on my XC. Used on the IOM in the rocky/muddy terrain with no problems. Even in the Manx 100 this year in the biblical rain they were fine.

That’s a relief Shred. That’s the combo I just ordered on Sunday night for my xc bike.

Barzo on the front looks a good option for where I ride.

Great quality tyres and love the grey wall. I too found the Mezcal grippier than it looks and fast.

Scratch that, they were Saguaros
