Following Sanny's investigation into Red Pike ( http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/lakes-experts-red-pike-descent-past-blea-tarn) and XXX's claim to have done it and wl's apparent intent, I want to see videos of other stupidly steep, fully-commited-or-you'll-die, descents.

Anyone know of any good ones?

I have some gopro footage from my helmet cam in the alps last year. However, I was walking/falling and swearing.

I saw some unicyclists going around The Monkey Trail. That video looks a bit tame in comparison! Bumders.

More like a couple of effing buskers. All they need are jester hats and some balls to juggle while they're doing it. ๐Ÿ™„

Got of couple of me, the angle of the camera probably makes them look steeper than they are -

Can't seem to get them to embed for some reason - probably me being daft

The bit of trial here was pretty mental and more than a bit steep in places by all accounts. Anything that manages to look steep in GoPro footage must be even worse in real life.

Now that would be impressive!

Wheres that vid of the descent of the steps, that are usually closed but the two riders got permission?

Looked pretty steep with big drops... and it went on like that for ages...

I reckon the stone pitched trail off the top of High Stile would count. No video of it yet though until my mate Dene edits it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Doups below Skiddaw would be good. I have lots of pics but no video.

My mate Donald and I riding off Buchaille Etive Mor down the middle col and down the grass into Glen Etive was pretty steep as was the descent I rode last year off Stob Binean. It was like bloody skiing as we linked turns to control our speed. I'll check to see the GoPro footage he has to see if it captures the steepness of it.

The descent down to the saddle from Beinn a Bhuird would look good on film. Again, only pics I'm afraid.

Sooooo, I'm not much bloody use for this thread! ๐Ÿ˜†

Vallnord's WC DH track this year looked horribly vertical, especially right near the bottom.

That bit of trail is embarrassing to werewolves the world over. They might even stop venturing into the woods at night for fear of riders laughing at them.

NDH track at Alwinton. Attempt 1: 2010. Dislocate knee. Spend a week off work. ACL rebuild, year off racing.
