[#9627143]

Trying to get the garage sorted. I want hooks/brackets for vertical storage for the full range of road to fat bike tyres.

I know it's not going to be a one size fits all solution, but what you got?

I use those as linked above..in fact, I bought another two at the weekend due to unforeseen bicycle multiplication.

I've got a fatbike and they don't hold it. I had to make a custom one for that.

You are hanging the bikes, right? I use these:

at appropriate intervals into the roof timbers (or a 2x4 screwed to them for across the joists). I guess that fat bike would fit in the latter too.

Twicewithchips has it - I have two fat bikes, a 29+ and three thin tyred bikes hanging from these which are screwed into a chunky bit of wood.

I use Delta Leonardo ones, do the job on carbon roadie wheels up to 50mm deep and 29ers. Probably go for something cheaper if I’d not got them through the LBS.

Thanks all. I like the look of the leonardo ones and they do a fat bike specific one, so I might go for a mixture.

I have loads of these. Strong, take b+ and cheap. Screw a ply board to wall and then screw these in with wood screws. Easy.

I used these from screwfix, fine for anything up to a 3", you might get a 4" in there but I guess that would be quite tight.

Nothing beats

www.steadyrack.com

I've got the fat bike version too.

Costs a bit more than an Aldi screw but so do your bikes.

I like the steadyrack too - thought I'd seen a cheaper version, possibly a copy of it though, somewhere.
