Is this all about aerodynamics being more important than ventilation? Or is there some clever thing going on ? (Is venturi effect the right thingy? Not sure!)
Cav's was for extra aero in the sprint, I'd wager twiggo is trying to keep warm
I think it is a mix. Some of the racing at the minute is fairly cold so they won't need the vents but also it will be part of sky's "aggregation of marginal gains" and improving aero when it is not too hot. Some of team sky road tour stages (and the worlds as team GB) in skin suits last year to save energy.

It also seems to have turned him into a sprinter 🙂
