Im conscious that I only ride short sharp climb and drop loops on it of less than 1hr here on Mount Malvern. DO other SS riders do similar or do you ride longer, but flatter rides? I ride maybe 3 or 4 times a week, in the dark, in the crap weather. But still about 1hr at a time.

Short sharp blasts for me too. ATM my back can only manage about an hour. There's no riding from my door, there is but it would be longer on the road than in the woods, so I end up driving for longer than I ride.

Just built this weekend with spare parts. Frame and the few new bits I needed cost a sum total of £150 so quite pleased with the results 🙂 It could do with a new saddle though.

Hereford City. I ride Haugh Woods (shhh, it's all cheeky), but at the moment with the rain it's all sticky plasticine. It's about 6-7 miles from me. Doesn't sound far, and would be a nice warm up if my back wasn't so bad, but in reality it's an hour on the SS there and back. I don't know many of the trails TBH. It's all a bit hush-hush. Nobody is very forthcoming with showing anyone else around.

There's more riding over towards West Wood. It all connects up. But again I'm not in the inner clique.

Normally ride the FOD, I work down that way so ride with the guys from work. It's becoming a bit samey though.

I ride the same loop every night 😳

But the same loop in the dark can feel very different and normally very fast. It feels like your going mach2 when in reality your going about 3mph.

And don't forget the eyes. 😯
