I use bikehike.co.uk to create tracks (in gpx format) both on and off road which I then download to my garmin gps before going out on the bike. Also I use it for viewing my actual trail logs.

Does anyone know if there's a similar program to allow setting up trails as gpx files (like bikehike) for the US please ? particularly Montana and Arizona ?

Thanks

Loads that use google maps - mapmyride.com, bikely.com etc.

Haven't seen any with decent maps, but that is partly because they don't really exist to the same extent, even their USGS topo maps aren't all that good (particularly in rural areas - even roads are sometimes shown that don't exist and vice versa).

Mapmyride works fine in the US - but do you have US maps on your gps?
