Murphy is showing up on Sunday morning, so the Met Office says.
Anyone else going as it was sold out quite a while ago?
Checked out the route on my OS (with one section I couldn't quite understand) and it looks good!
If I get any decent pictures, I'll post them up on muddy bum
Who, or What is Murphy?!
Will be there.. Looking forward to it, despite the fact that the weather looks to be on the turn.. ๐
I'm going to the CRC marathon just up the road ๐
Will be a cracking day.
Murphy in all his glory!
Us old hands, well, we still think of it as a Merida! ๐
I thought it was the Schwinn Marathon ๐
Will be there too
It does look like it might be damp... might need to take a proper jacket.
Is there a compulsary kit list? I'm sure there was last year but can'tfind any notes about it. Don't want to be turned away becase I forgot something like a first aid kit?
Kit list:
6. Canoes optional, but recommended in the English summer
Just bought the Gore Paclite 8)
Hi Tim!
I'll raise your Met Office with my Weatheronline - hah!
See you on Sunday
Ahem - Skipton would be closer than Harrogate surely?
Cloudy. Various clouds.
That made me smile!
The Met Office predicts heavy rain.
I'm taking my Bowens portable studio lights and will set up on a hill side somewhere, so dark, brooding skies are actually to be encouraged as I want to have a play about with a couple of soft boxs and some more harsher lighting attachments, which increase contrast and might well suit the conditions.
Weather looking ok for Sunday
