got a bmx chain on my haro.
running it with a ss tensioner.
it is very noisy.
is it because the chain is too big for a.the tensioner jockey wheel.
b.the chainring.
the chain line is very good.
It should fit the jockey wheel fine but may be rubbing on the chain keeper loop (assuming you're using a singleator type tensioner like [url= 
]this[/url]). If so, just unbolt the jockey wheel and put a washer either side, opening out the chain keeper slightly before bolting it all back together. If it's the newer type with the large wheel type cages either side of the jockey wheel, then I guess you could do the same to space those out. Hope that makes sense.

or get a tensioner with a roller rather than a jockey wheel? (though that involves spending moneys)
