I just used one with some washers and a cavity wall anchor to seal a hole in the hot water store in my boiler.
Hope it holds
What have you used them for? - odder the better
Used the valve out of one in a lemonade bottle to make a ram pump pressure holder.
When I was a (motorbike) trail rider used to cut (motorbike) ones into 1" loops and use them as gaiters to hold wterproof trousers onto MX boots. Also used them in loops as grab handles for dragging bikes out of bogs etc.
Work well as a 'soft' bungee for tying fragile stuff to roof bars.
I cut mine into rings to use as handy rubber bands. I then take them to my local Post Office sorting office and scatter them on the ground outside.
not odd but bike related: beef-flap & chainstay protector
๐ nice one andy!
lol at Andy
I use mine for the 'normal' secondary biking purposes i.e. double bagging your inner tubes for added puncture protection or wrapping around the chainstay as a cheap form of protection
DIY s&m masks, good for 'visits' to the bank/post office.
