First post from an old biker...

Hello to you all.

This weekend Ive gone a bit crazy on the old laptop - ebay, and online stores have taken some bashing from me these past few days.

I have a lovely (and I really mean, lovely) Specialized StumpJumper Expert 120 from (about) 5 years ago... I have not used it anywhere near as much as I should have done, although it has been about a fair bit.

A very loose new years resolution was to get out more, and this has been going well - so, a few days ago, i thought it time to 'upgrade' a few bits.

To be honest, I am not sure why I have done this - I have been really happy with the bits on my bike - however, reading the reviews, it seems I absoultely MUST have a new stem (Hope), a new seat post (Thomson Elite), and a new seat clamp (Hope) - some new bars (Easton)... and a new Camelbak (Camelbak).

For most of this kit, the reviews are inspiring - I will surely go faster, further, and quicker.

Cant wait for it all to arrive - hope the wife is out when it does tuen up.

Reassure me guys - I have done the right thing... its wasnt just the Shiraz talking.
