Well, it's happened again - snow!!!!
I've got about 1" of snow in my village on the roads, but it is slushy. I started to drive into Exeter and it was 'inteesting'.....the valley raods similarly white but slushy. When I met the Moretonhampstead road it was more snow than slush, and going up the back of Longdwon ( the continuation of the Haldon ridge ) it was a good 6" on the roads but passable with care. Going down the other side, my phone went. My school in Crediton's closed!!! ......after I've driven the worst bit too!!!!
Then a snow plough came through going towards Exeter showering my car in slush, so turned around and had to go over the dreaded Longdown ridge the other way. My car's undercarriage bottoming on the snow. It wasn't nice!
So the wonderful dry trails of last weekend, as droolingly described by trailmonkey must be well and truely sodden after heavy rain and 2 lots of snow.....
@rse.
Take it easy if you're travelling.
Now, an unexpected breakfast becons of tea and toast!

It won't snow in Cornwall. The Cornish are far to miserable to allow anything as fun as that ๐
Im in Somerset and had a few inches to deal with! wierd though cos my work hasn't had any, driving up the A303 and it's almost like someones drawn a line and one side had it and the other didn't!!
Not sure if you seen my other post but Mrs Jackass is now 8 days overdue, the last thing I wanted was to worry about snow and getting her to the hospital!!
Nothing at all on the Quantocks, the sun's out too ๐
I've just finished Nights and I've got the next six days off ๐
