Why does my right hand grip always wear out quicker than the left. Am I alone in this?
Nope.
I always wear a hole in the outside of my right grip as my right arm is a bit messed up and forces me to hold the right side of the bar a bit wonky.
Maybe more hand movement from shifting contributes.
Do you like to pretend it's a motorbike?
Do you hold your phone in your left hand as you ride?
I'm guessing you run 1x gears, and shuffle your hand around everytime you shift up or down?
I wondered if it was due to shifting. If its 1x related, then surely everyone would have this issue. Maybe I just ride more right hand bends 😂
Maybe your hands need balancing or forearm alignment.

My right shoe sole wears faster because that ankle is knackered (spiral fracture and dislocation, screwed back together but not properly aligned so movement is restricted). However, it’s much better with 165mm than 175mm cranks!
And the left side knobs on my tyres wear a bit more than the right because I’m better (faster) at turning left. Do you turn right faster/harder?
