I'm writing a feature on UK designed and produced bikes but I can find very little in the way of short travel full sussers designed or made on our tiny island.
Apart from Orange's offering and Pinnacle's now defunkt Tharpu Peak, can anyone think of other UK bikes with less than 120mm rear travel (so not Boardman).
Any thoughts much appreciated

The OP does say "designed or made".

It's not a 120mm travel bike but the Empire AP1 DH frame is made in the UK, and apparently XC versions are beign developed. Curtis Thumpercross is UK made too.

What was the name of the Northern company who were put out a Five-style single pivot a few years back? It was something like Blade or Sabre IIRC.

A home-made DH frame from Millyard Racing.

Still drawing a blank for XC bikes though.

They were called Edge Bikes from Sheffield and made VPP style bikes from DH through to a 4X version. They didn't last long for some reason and are now no more.
