I've just got an Uberbike bottom bracket to replace a SRAM GXP one. My bike has a 73mm bottom bracket shell and I'm running a double chainset.
I've tried to fit it as per instructions supplied with a 2.5mm spacer on the non-drive side and a 5mm axle spacer on the drive side, but the 5mm axle spacer won't slide all the way down the axle to butt up against the crank. If it isn't all the way on there's not enough axle protruding on the non-drive side to secure the crank.
Can't contact Uberbike til Monday, but would like to get out tomorrow - will I wreck anything riding without the 5mm spacer?
