I want to chop my steerer down but not leave it too short for potential re-sale. I don't want any spacers underneath my stem because the forks are long at 170mm. Happy to leave a 5mm spacer on top of the stem. I need to know what length of steerer tubes second-hand buyers are typically likely to look for, just in case I need to leave 10+mm on top of the stem instead of 5mm. Ta.

Under 200mm will be harder to shift.
