I can't really see myself ever going for a 29" bike, but I do like the idea of the compromise 650b wheel size especially now that Turner are relaunching their new [url= http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gallery/article/turner-to-bring-the-burner-back-34347/1 ]Burner[/url] Maybe my next bike!

yeah saw this yesterday and had the same thoughts my beloved 5 spot has a rival looks great - better start saving now for next year !

It looks........exactly the same as a 5 spot but with ever so slightly bigger wheels.
The fox 34 chassis is compatible so I understand and Schwalbe making the hans dampf in 27.5 will help also.
Could be a winner, although I can't see the market for 26, 27.5 and 29 being sustainable.
So 26 = DH/FR
27.5 = Trail/AM
29 = XC/CX/towpaths
Maybe?
