I'm in the market for a new bike, my short list is :
Turner 5 spot
Intense Tracer
Yeti 575
Do you know where I can get one of these as a demo bike in West Yorkshire???
I know its not on your shortlist but a Commencal Meta should surely be on there as well. Quality versatile bike. Demo's readily available FOC from JD's in Ilkley.
Forgot to add Blur LT2 to this list.
Crag, you keep raving on about Commencal, do you have shares in the company or something? I see in your previous posts that you're on your 3rd frame? Thanks for the nod on a place that does free demo bikes BUT I will not entertain a Commencal! We all know somebody who has cracked a Commencal frame or two ( lots of heads nodding to that last comment!)
Bit out of your area, but Wheelbase in Stavely have all of them as Demo's.
I went from a Yeti 575 to a Turner. No question the 5 spot is a better all rounder, clkimbs better descends better and handles a dream. The Yeti is lighter and maybe a little quicker out the blocks but the 5 Spot is unbeatable.
Of course i am biased but have a look at a Chumba VF2
thread here for some info

There have been a lot of threads along these lines, my list is down to the three Gaz mentioned plus the Ibis Mojo. There are fans for them all but the Turner seems to get very little criticism, wheras most of the others seem to be subject to some sort of griping.
I demoed a 575 at Dalby and thought it was a very nice bike.
Not West Yorks I know but Moonglu in Ripon had a demo Turner a while back. Might be worth giving them a ring.
