Wife is recovering from a broken leg .We got given an old excercise bike but pedals n toe clips are a bit naff meaning she doesn't feel secure .I was going to put a pair of flat pedals on but the thread is a different size .So then i thought turbo trainer .As this is for just a short period of time don't want to spend a lot .Evilbay seem to have new ones for around £50 .Would these do the trick ?

don't see why not if it's got a q/r on the rear wheel, tbh I only use road bikes on them not mtb so the tyre on the rear may be a bit odd, , may need a block to lift the front wheel up a bit and an i pod!
