Evening all

Has anyone ever seen a turbo trainer that would take a Maxle rear axle? I'm completely in the dark when it comes to TTs and how they work.

Cheers

Doubt you could use it with a maxle, as a skewer is supplied with the TT to put on your bike which then clamps into the turbo.. Could be wrong though!

Thanks. Supected as much.

I wouldn't want to risk clamping the frame with a QR skewer in case it knackered the maxle thread.

not so sure tbh mine is like say a shallow egg cup and about that size an you could pretty much clamp it to anything as long as it sticks out enough - could you replace maxle with a threaded bolt that extends out pass the frame to contact the trainer?

Whether you want to bodge with a maxle is another thing though

Rollers?

Just been having a think and reckon the easiest solution is to use the missus' hardtail. Bit wee for me, but will do the job. That said, I'll have a wee look at a bodge, cheers JY.
