I've been running tubeless for some time now and one of my mates wants to see how it works for him , but is sceptical. I have valves and tape he can use, but he's on wire bead ( conti m.k ) tyres and doesn't want to change them yet, for the sake of it.
I truly don't know the answer, so wouldn't ask otherwise. Can we try his wire bead tyres without tubes ?
Ta !

I've done tubeless mountain kings with a wired bead but they were very porous and it took lots of sealant to seal them up and about 4 days of re-inflation.

Ran wire bead mountain king 2s for a while tubeless to check how I felt about the tires worked grand until I had the wheel respoked and squashed the tire away as if it were folding bead.

They sealed up well and seating the bead was a doddle

I've just gone ghetto tubeless thanks to my bro in law with a wire bead specialized ground control.

Five hours later and it still holding!

Ran wire bead Maxxi Ignitor for best part of a year with no issue. Never needed air, never burped, never a problem. Stans kit on old Mavic 317 rims
