Been using the 20" inner tube ghetto method for 18 months and it's fine but I may try the duct tape method when I change to 'summer' tyres.
I've read that tubeless valves are better than cutting a valve out of an old tube.
Is this true and if so which valves seem to work best - I see that th emavic vlaves are almost twice as expensive as the bonty valves....... and I'm using 717 rims.

I've been using the Bonty valves for years with no problems, although I think their time has come
