passible or snow bound ? - bypassing the top that is

Anyone fancy a ride ? Early doors tarfside carpark on saturday relaxed pace 60 - 100 k - 1 big 60k loop then ride past car and a further 30k loop so scope to change mind

Sorry Terry,

marshalling in a road race Saturday. Can't help with conditions either but maybe check the snow report for Southern Cairngorms on www.sais.gov.uk and extrapolate from there.

It's not just snow thats an issue - horrendous frost heave on many of the trails right now after 3 months of permafrost. Makes for very slow, sapping progress...

thats ok heatherbash , i know the trails very well and there are only a handfull of kms that will be affected by that.

most of the trails are landrover tracks and thus surfaced.

It was the LRT's surfaces I had the problem with at the w/e ;-( Not all admittedly but 75% of them. Worst I've ever ridden on after a thaw...

Still, they should have hardened up a bit by the w/e
