I recently bought a new bike that came set up with tubeless tyres.
I suffered a burp on the weekend, which resulted in a small hole to the tyre wall (I think I rode over something hard after the tyre burped).
I've taken the tyre off to inspect and the sealant has hardened/gone off (it's about two months old).
Should I clean out the old sealant (brand unknown) and start a-fresh? Or just lob in some Stans?

I got a small hole in my sidewall. My sealant had gone off too.
What I did was cleaned the tyre at the point inside and out and stuck a patch on both sides.
Scraped the sealant from the tread part of the inside, but left the old stuff on the walls - didn't scrape too hard, just got all the lumpy stuff off. And topped up with 2Oz of Stans, and waved it around/left it on each side like it shows in their videos.
Seems to have held so far... haven't ridden it yet - but it did seal up one other little escape from somewhere right in the middle of the tread...

Id remove only lumps and dried pools of sealant. The dry thin layer promotes quicker sealing down the line... to be honest though if it still sounds a bit sloshy, just bung some more in.
