Has anybody who's used it found a way to stop it turning into a useless block of grey gunk, and make it useful again after it has gone gunky?

Place in sink or wherever and pour very hot water over the bottle. I actually took the cap off and made sure hot water did not go down the spout. All very runny again. Works with Smoove etc too.

That sounds very like Fenwick Pro lube, the stuff that smells like horse poo. Leaving it in a cup of very hot (not straight out the kettle!) water seems to do the trick.

It's kind of wax based and will solidify pretty quick. The bottle is a bit squishy so just give it a thorough squeeze and roll it around a bit - it'll soon turn back to liquid. Give it a god shake when it does. It's excellent stuff....
