I'm looking for a rack and panniers for short 2-3 day rides but don't want to spend too much.
What rack and panniers do you use?
cheers
tortec ultralite and Altura dryliners for me. All second hand. Seem ok but not used in anything really wet yet
EBC own-brand lightweight, showing some signs of wear now after 5 years of daily commute use (but still rock solid), and some altura waterproof panniers that I dunno they make any more. Also good.
I'd buy the same again, if that helps?
THis is the rack:

Modded with a plastic flap (cut from a folder) along it and extending out the back 8" to keep mud off me.

thanks
Planet-X are flogging the Blackburn EX1 for £20 so might give it a go
Tortec ultralite here too, needed bending a bit to get it on the 61cm version. It also lacks clips at the bottom for holding bags on, ended up using zip ties. Was nice and light tho 🙂
