Not sure if the frame will be the same as a new one, but pretty light, not as light as carbon. Current spec looks pretty good for the money, and a lively ride.

I had a 2016 X Caliber 9.

Was all ok, no issues other than general maintenance.

It was heavy (over 13kg) but that's about the par for that price point.

I was tempted by one of these last year, especially once I discovered it shared a frame with the Roscoe and so is quite adaptable.  May be a bit heavy for a pure XC bike as a result, but at the moment there isn't much choice!

So we bought one as a stop gap as my sons marzocchi forks are away for a while on warranty.. (again). I'm loving it, I swapped out the stem for something shorter which made a big difference in handling and a wider bar, set it up tubeless and added a dropper, after those changes it's quite a capable bike for general riding .Dont get me wrong it's no DH thrasher, but if your after a bike that will do a bit of everything you carnt go wrong for the money, also nice to see a full shimano deore groupset which works just as well as any xt groupset ive used. The rockshox judy also surprised me for the price point . Weight wise it's no lightweight, but once its rolling you dont notice it. I'm 5'8 and went for a ml.
